In life we all deal with trials and tribulations. Has there ever been a time when you were dealing with something and you thought you could get out of? No matter what you did to get out, the deeper you sunk. In Psalm 30, David writes about a similar situation. However, in these verses, he mentions how he cried out to The Lord for help, and he was delivered. We have to realize, we are incapable of getting ourselves out. David wants to make it clear to his readers, The Lord wants to help us. But, do we want the Lord’s help? David shares in this Psalm the benefits in having The Lord’s help.
You will
encounter things you can’t get out of on your own. There will be times you will
feel the darkness has overtaken you, and you don’t expect to see the light of
day again. That’s why David said in verse five “weeping may linger for the
night, but joy come with the morning”. You can experience joy in your life
when you call on The Lord for help. You benefit in having The Lord’s help! Be
blessed.
