There is something you need to understand about the God we serve. He wants you to share with others how your life has been impacted by Him. Why, because the Lord does not want anyone to live a hopeless life. Hopelessness had a hold on you, because you felt nothing could be done. However, something moved you to call on the Lord, and once you did He did the impossible. For the sole purpose of giving you hope, and letting you know the Lord will work it out. Now that you have experienced the power of the Lord in your life, there is no way you can remain silent. You will tell others about the power of the Lord, and His praise shall continually be in your mouth. There will be some that will think you are overbearing, but they don’t know what your life was like before the Lord stepped in. By telling others about the Lord has been instrumental in your spiritual growth. The more you share, the more you are able to see the Lord working in your midst. So, continue to be authentic in telling others, and don’t allow anyone to damper your excitement in the Lord. Because, you are sharing a message that is life changing. In Psalm 22:22-24, in these verses the writer feels obligated to tell others about the Lord. And, will praise the Lord in the midst of the congregation. When you know the Lord for yourself, there is no way you can be silent about the great works He has done. You want others to experience and see the great works He will do in their lives. This is why you have to tell others, because you know how it feels to be hopeless.
Hopelessness is not a place the Lord wants anyone to be. Therefore, once you have moved away from it, you are motivated to help others to do the same. Also, you want others to know praising the Lord is a necessity. Praising the Lord is your way of letting it be known, I’m no longer restricted by my circumstances. I have been freed from the burden of hopelessness, and I will praise the Lord with every ounce of my being. Therefore, while I’m in the midst of the congregation, I will keep my focus on the Lord and will not allow anyone to hinder my praise. Also, the writer wants those who are afflicted, to know their afflictions don’t have to dominate them. They are to cry out to the Lord, and He will look past their afflictions, and meet them in their needs. Why does the writer make these statements in these verses? In order for people to recognize the need to share with others, the life changing experience they have with the Lord.
Have you made the decision to tell others about the Lord? I know this is not easy to do, but you are sharing how the Lord can change their lives. This is part of the faith journey you are on, because you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Your message is life changing for those who embrace the Lord. It’s time for you to step out in faith. Continue to walk in your blessings!
