When The Lord saved us from our sins, some thought their life struggles would be over. Therefore, when they reached what appeared to be a roadblock, they wanted to give up and blame The Lord for leading them to it. This is what we read in Psalm 106:7. The Jews rebelled against The Lord for taking them out of bondage to kill them by the Red Sea. The bank of the Red Sea appeared to be a roadblock, and they could not turn around because the Egyptian army was coming to destroy them. In Psalm 106:8 we read how The Lord saved the Jews for His name’s sake to make known His power. In verses 9 thru 11 of the mentioned Psalm, we are able to read about the power of The Lord.
The Lord is still doing the same for us today. We complain about what we are dealing with and sometimes think life was better before The Lord intervened. I know it sounds far-fetched but listen to what you are saying about your current roadblock. I am so thankful that in spite of what we say; The Lord shows us mercy for His name’s sake to make known His power. When He does, we need to believe His word and sing His praises, Psalm 106:12. We all have something to sing about and that is why church service should always be lively. The Lord has removed our roadblocks, because He has something to show us. There is nothing too hard for our God! Somebody ought to say thank you!
