In Matthew 17 Jesus’s disciples were unable to cure a boy who had epilepsy, so they asked Him why did they fail? Jesus told them in Matthew 17:20 “because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have the faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you”.
The key to our victory as Christians is to have faith. The reason we are living beneath our ability is because we are not living by faith. Think about this, the disciples thought by being close to Jesus his power would automatically fall on them. When the father brought his epileptic son to be healed by Jesus, He was not there. The disciples thought they were capable of doing it without Him. However, they failed in being able to heal the boy. Which was the reason why He told them they needed faith.
Jesus tells them if they have faith there are no limits on what they can accomplish. When we walk by faith, we come to the realization nothing is greater than our God. Since there is nothing greater, we have to be able to look at it and tell it to move out of our way. When we speak to it, the power of God is released in the situation. Whatever it is, it will move out your way.
What are you facing today that looks as large as a mountain? I want you to allow the faith that is in you to rise up. Then speak to the mountain and allow God to take care of the rest. You don’t have to wonder what will happen because you already have the victory. God is going to step in and move it out of you way. “Nothing will be impossible for you”, Hallelujah!
