In Proverbs 3:5, we are told to “trust in the Lord with all our heart and do not rely on your own insight”. Why is it hard for people to trust God, when they say He is the head of their lives? The reality is some people have put all their trust in another person and it did not work. Now they find it hard to trust anybody including God. So, they build walls to stop others from getting in, but when we treat God in this manner we are hindering our ability to truly be used by Him.

I am asking you to tear down the wall and let God in, because you can trust what is stated in His word. You cannot put God on the same level as man, because man is an imperfect being and is prone to let us down. That is why it says in Proverbs 3:6 “In all your way acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths”. The way to tear down the wall is to acknowledge that God is involved in every aspect of your life and to give Him the glory, honor and praise. When you do, you’ll see how God is working in your life and using you to accomplish great things.  Today is a new beginning for you because you have made the decision to tear down the wall and trust God!
