As the saints of God, we have an obligation to live in a manner where people can see the Lord in you. Before you can get people to hear anything you have to say, they need to see you living what you believe. It’s not enough for them to see you walk into the Church, but how are you living after you come out?  If they never see you come and go to Church, is there sufficient evidence that you have been born again? Some are thinking that if they don’t know what it means to be born again, what is the purpose of the evidence? I’m glad you asked, the evidence shows others you are not dominated by the things of this world. You are in the world, but not of the world. You don’t respond to life situations like others, you don’t allow the negativity to win. You do the right thing, because it is the right thing to do. Because, you understand there is a higher calling on your life, and you are living to please the Lord. Which means you are consistently doing what is right, because you want the Lord to get the victory in your life.

Here’s the reality, it’s not going to be easy, and you will have some trying moments in doing the right thing. However, you will be victorious, because you have made the decision to live by faith and not by sight. In 1 John 5:1-5, John outlines to us how to live in a way where the Lord is glorified, and others will see the evidence of the Lord moving through your life. They will be able to see how you are victorious over life’s obstacles, because you have decided to believe in Jesus Christ. Through doing this you are born again, and have become a child of God. Your life has been transformed, and there is no doubt God loves you. The way you show God how much you appreciate what He has done in your life, is by obeying His commands. This will not be easy, but it’s attainable because you are placing your trust in the Lord. This trust will open your eyes to see what you are capable of doing, and know you are a conqueror in God.

You are able to conquer the things of the world, and be victorious. How is this victory possible, through your faith? This originated through the actions of Jesus Christ, by Him taking the sin of the world to the cross. Once He was crucified and died on the cross the world thought it was over on that Friday afternoon. But early on the following Sunday, Jesus was resurrected from the tomb, to let us know He has the victory over death. This is why we live by faith believing in Jesus Christ who gave us the victory, and has made us conquerors through His actions.  I want you to know there will be obstacles, that will do their best to break you. Remember, you have come this far by faith, and the Lord did not bring you this far to quit. You have to remember there is nothing greater than our God, and His Son who gave you the victory. Therefore, move forward knowing you are a conqueror over everything through the Lord. Walk in your victory. Continue to walk in your blessings!
