I Believe
Within our country we are receiving a lot of conflicting information. We are receiving information from the White House, that is conflicting with the experts in the medical field. We never see the leader of our country ever wear a mask, but we see those around him with masks on. It has been shared from the White House about a pill that the leader is taking daily to combat Covid-19. Those in the medical field have shared, this pill has no affect on the virus. There have been confrontations at stores, because some people will not wear a mask. They believe the leader of this country and will not put it on.
These are some dark times we are living through. In Psalm 27:1 it states, “the Lord is my light and my salvation”. More than ever before, we have to believe and hold on to His Word that will get us through. This is the time for the people of God to allow the light to shine in our lives, because we have received His salvation. This is the reason we don’t have to fear, because we believe in the power of the Lord. He is our stronghold, and He will continue to protect and shield us as we walk by faith. Our lives are in His hands, and there is no better place for us.
That’s why we embrace verse 13, “I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord, in the land of the living.” We have to move forward believing the Lord will bring us through, while we are still alive and breathing. Now that we believe all we have to do is “wait for the Lord; be strong, let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! (verse 14)” While we wait, we are getting stronger, because we are growing in our faith. Realizing the only reason we are still here is because of the Lord, we take courage in our hearts, because we believe our God is able. Continue to walk in your blessings!
