In our world today there are so many things that have become unstable. There are a number of wars happening around the world. The Russians have invaded the country of Ukraine and want them to surrender. This invasion has caused a number of people to flee Ukraine for safety. However, these people have been fighting to keep their country and have received assistance from the United States and other countries. The actions of the Russians have caused a tremendous amount of instability in this region of the world.
There is a conflict between Israel and Palestine that occurred when a group called Hamas invaded Israel, killed a number of people and took others hostage. Now Israel is retaliating by invading Palestine to free the hostages, and remove Hamas from Palestine. This has caused a number of Palestinians to vacate their homes because Hamas is hiding among the innocent people. So there is instability occurring in the Middle East. We can see why there is instability in these areas and we will continue to pray for peace.
What in your life is burdening you down, and you keep trying to move from it? No matter what you do, the burden remains. In Psalm 55:22, the writer wants you to know there is a solution in dealing with your burdens. The writer tells you to, “cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you”. The writer does not want you to make the mistake of thinking you can move away from the burden. It has attached itself to you, so no matter where you move it will be there. Many have frustrated themselves by trying to run away from their burdens, but it didn’t work. This is what causes despair to increase and for hope to decrease. Why, because they can’t see a way out. The writer is telling you to stop moving and cast your burden on the Lord. The burden has to be handled by the Lord but you have to be willing to let Him have it. This can be hard because you are the one that caused this burden, and you can’t see why the Lord would be willing to take it. He loves you, and knows this burden will cause you to implode. The Lord does not want this to happen, He wants to sustain you, and help you through. Now, you have to cast it on Him. The writer wants you to know the outcome, “He will never permit the righteous to be moved.”
Whether you caused the burden or not, the Lord wants you to stop running away. You are His, so you don’t have to move, but the burden will be moved from your life. When you established your relationship with the Lord, it placed you in a position to overcome the things that were trying to break you. You have become righteous with the Lord, and He does not want you to move from the burden. But, trust Him with your burden, and remind yourself moving is not an option. Continue to walk in your blessings!
