There is something everyone will have to go through and no one will be able to escape it. The passing of a loved one. When someone you love is called home to glory, it will cause you to mourn. Why, because of the idea of not being able to see, or spend time with them. We are devastated by their passing and some don’t know how to come out of their mourning. There are other things that happen in our lives that will cause us to mourn: Going through a bad relationship, when loved ones spread false information about you, or the choices you made having a negative impact on your family.
The list can go on but I think you understand what I’m talking about. When these things happen to you, it’s hard to overcome the grief and disappointment. Why, because these things separate us from the things we love. This has caused some to be stuck in neutral and they are not able to reach their full potential in the Lord. There is something you need to do to get out of neutral. Bring it to the Lord, and do as He instructs.
In Psalm 30:11-12, the writer wants you to know what the Lord will do. Once you place your trust in Him by bringing the things that have caused you to mourn, The Lord will meet you in your grief and He will not allow you to remain in neutral. The Lord has a plan for your life, and it can not be realized until you shift out of neutral. You have to know the Lord loves you, and He wants to begin the healing process. However, in order for this to occur you have to be a willing participant. If you are willing, this is what the Lord will do, turn your mourning into dancing. How, by removing the things that are weighing you down, and replacing them with joy. This is essential for your healing and getting you out of neutral. This will allow you to praise the Lord because when praises go up, blessings will come down. While you were in neutral you were silent, and you didn’t realize how you were blocking your blessings. Now that you have received joy, you will give thanks to the Lord forever.
When this happens in your life, you will move forward executing the Lord’s plan. Yes, He has a plan for you, and now it will begin to materialize. You are going to be amazed at the things you will accomplish for the Lord. It was made possible, once you decided to make the shift. Continue to walk in your blessings!
