The world has a number of weapons that have been created to destroy.  Many people feel secure when they have a lot of weapons, and there are a number of people looking for the latest and greatest. This is a false sense of security because no matter what you have, there is always somebody that has more.  As the people of God, we know we are secure because The Lord is the one watching over us!  In Isaiah 54:17 it says, “No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper”.  God had Isaiah to write this to encourage the people, because they felt insecure and incapable of defending themselves against their enemies.  God wanted His people to understand it does not matter how many weapons are in the enemy’s camp. They will be unsuccessful in defeating us because God will not allow them to win. Think about David when he was willing to face Goliath. Goliath’s appearance was so intimidating that none of the soldiers were willing to fight against him.  However, a young shepherd that had just come from tending his father’s sheep was not afraid. David was willing to fight Goliath because he believed there is nothing greater than my God.  He defeated Goliath through the power of God.

What weapon is the enemy using that has you on the run? I want you to remember you have some history with God bringing you through. It’s time for you to stand on the truth in God’s word. You have been covered in the blood of Jesus Christ and you have been anointed with the Holy Spirit. If you need another reminder is states in 1 John 4:4 “Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world”.  You have to believe and tell yourself there is nothing greater than my God!
