When we have children there is always something to do for them. As parents we have long and short term goals we would like our children to reach. When they start sitting up, them we want them to learn to walk. When they start talking, we teach them the alphabet, and how to read. When they were infants we setup a college fund. We make all these investment in our children because we are preparing them to be successful in whatever career they choose. As children of God, our Heavenly Father has done the same for us, and Paul shares this in 1 Corinthians 2:9. In this verse Paul is making it clear that our God has invested in us. Also, He is preparing us to be successful in what we have been called to do. The one stipulation is that we must love God, through our acceptance of Jesus Christ as our savior. When we are saved “no eye has see, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him.” We have to know our Heavenly Father has prepared what we need, for us to succeed.
I want you to take time and grow in your relationship with God. This is key for you to be able to embrace your calling. Right now you may be frustrated because you have allowed other things to get your attention, and nothing seems to be working for you. Embrace the love the Father has for you and then watch how things begin to turn around for you! Be blessed.
