There is something we will always hear in Church, we can’t do this, or we have limited resources. How did we come to the point where we give more attention to what we see, than what we believe? Prior to becoming a Christian, you felt you were bound by the sin in your life and you felt limited on what you could do. Once you stepped out in faith and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you felt a burden lifted from your life and through faith you saw all the opportunities. At this time in your walk with Christ, you were believing anything was possible. How could you start this way and not continue to believe the opportunity for you to succeed has changed? The opportunities are still there, but something happened in your life that is blocking you from seeing them.
In Philippians 4:13, Paul says the following, “l can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” He made this statement to inform the Philippians, no matter the situation he will make it through the strength of the Lord. When Paul went on his missionary journeys, he did not know what was going to happen, but he knew the Lord would take care of him. In essence Paul would not allow his attention to be on what he could see, but believing the Lord would work it out. Paul was not providing ministry for selfish gain, but to share the Gospel with those that were lost. There would always be obstacles before him, but his focus was on the opportunities to share. Why, because the harvest was plentiful. The number of people that were lost, broken, and hopeless were in abundance, and they needed Jesus Christ. Since Paul made the decision to step out in faith, the Lord allowed his ministry to flourish. The number of lives Jesus changed, because Paul believed in the power of the Lord. He understood the Lord does not have any limitations, and he moved forward believing the Lord will make away.
I’m challenging you to get excited about your relationship with the Lord. I want you to remember how you started with the Lord, and the things you accomplished through believing. You need to have that mindset today, and you will see the Lord do great things again. I know life has hit you hard with some situations. I want you to share all of this with the Lord, and He will get you excited again. Then you will move forward believing there are no limitations in what the Lord will do. Continue to walk in your blessings!
