Everyday that you wake up, you should be thankful for what the Lord has done in your life. He has delivered you from the things that would have killed you, if you didn’t call out to Him. You called out to be saved, because things were not getting better without His help. When you surrendered to the Lord, the things that were trying to break you were removed from your life. This is why you live your life thanking the Lord for what He has done. However, there are moments in your life when you look back at how things were, and you beat yourself up for making those mistakes. Then you begin to think about how much further you could have gone in your life, if you did not allow those mistakes to happen.

Think about this, you would not be who you are for the Lord without your past.

In Romans 8:28, Paul is sharing with the Romans, “that all things work together for good.” However, there are some stipulations that must occur in order for this statement to be true. Paul is someone that could spend a lot of time beating himself up for past mistakes. He has come to realize the mistakes of his past have shaped him into the man of God, he has become. Paul was called to take the Gospel to the Gentiles, and he knew it would be a struggle. But, he had patience to work with them, and he was an example on how to live for the Lord. He came to this conclusion, because when the Lord saw what he was doing. The Lord was patient, and met him on the road to Damascus, and his life was changed. From this encounter with Jesus, Paul embraced the calling on his life and moved forward in his purpose.

Through moving forward in your purpose there will be struggles, but they will not overwhelm you. Why, because you are walking by faith knowing the Lord is working it for His good. When Paul looked at how the Lord has changed him, and the impact he was making with the Gentiles. This was enough for him to constantly praise the Lord, for giving him an opportunity to change his life. He embraced the change and did not look back, because it was during this time he understood how much the Lord loved him. The Lord could have easily thrown him away, but He did the opposite and brought him in. This is how the Lord shaped his life, and brought forth this statement through Paul. When you are moving in faith you know what the Lord will do, because you are loved by Him, called by Him, and given your purpose by Him. Therefore, it will get hard at times causing you to struggle, but giving up is not an option, because “all things work together for good.”

You are providing ministry and it appears nothing is working. Don’t give up, keep moving forward in faith knowing the Lord is working it. Continue to walk in your blessings!
