There is a question people may ask, why are you excited about having Jesus Christ in your life? Because when I was broken and lost, the Lord did what I thought was not possible. I was existing from day to day and realized there has to be something better. I found my way to Church, and embraced Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. What was fascinating is how He accepted me with all of my faults, and made me whole. He changed my life, and guided me in a direction I was not expecting. The Lord did a new thing with my life, and I am grateful. This is why I can’t let a day go by without praising His name, and everyday is a day of thanksgiving. I have a question to ask, are you still excited about what the Lord has done in your life?
In Matthew 9:27-31, we have two blind men following Jesus, and crying out to Him to have mercy on them. These men wanted Jesus to open their eyes for them to see. Jesus heard them as he was entering the house and these blind men followed. By Jesus not initially responding to them, It may cause you to think He didn’t care. This is not the case, the Lord wanted to see if they were willing to follow Him. Anybody can call out to Jesus, but are you willing to follow Him to receive what you need? After they followed Him into the house, Jesus said to them, “do you believe that I am able to do this?” They responded to Him, “yes, Lord”. Then Jesus touched their eyes and said, “according to your faith let it be done to you.” These men knew Jesus was able to bless them, that’s why they stepped out in faith to follow Him into the house. It’s impossible to please the Lord without faith, and it’s through faith you are able to experience the awesome power of the Lord. After they received their sight, Jesus didn’t want them to tell anybody. This was something they could not do, because Jesus did a great work for them. These two men were overjoyed with gratitude, and were incapable of keeping quiet about what was done for them. Their hearts were filled with thanksgiving, and there was no way they could be silent. Do you have a heart that is filled with thanksgiving for all the Lord has done for you? Wherever you go, you can’t keep quiet about all the Lord has done for you. You want the world to know if He did it for me He can do the same for you. Lord, I thank you for all you have done for me, since I made the decision to step out in faith. It’s through my faith in You, I am full! Continue to walk in your blessings!
