It’s interesting how some people will come to a conclusion about what type of person you are. They look at what you are currently going through to draw their conclusion. They immediately think you have done something wrong, and that’s why things are happening in your life. There is something you need to understand about life, we all have to deal with situations and circumstances. Some believe if you are living right, there are some things that won’t come your way. As a Christian there will be times when things happen in your life that you don’t understand, but some people will think you must have done something to deserve it. Saints, think about this, what did Jesus do to deserve to be crucified?  Nothing. He went to the cross to create an opportunity for us to be saved. When He started His public ministry and began healing people, there was always someone around saying something negative about Him. But it did not stop Jesus Christ from doing what was right, because He was doing as our Heavenly Father instructed. 

In Acts 28:1-10, Luke is writing about something that happened to Paul.   Some people came to conclusions about why these things  happened. Paul along with other prisoners were being transported to Rome, but their ship  was destroyed when it hit a reef near the island of Malta. When they all made it to shore, the people of the island showed them unusual kindness and they built a fire for all to come around it. Paul had gathered some wood and placed it on the fire. As he was putting the wood on the fire, a viper came out the fire and fastened itself to his hand. The natives came to the conclusion that he must be a murderer, and got what he deserved. The viper that bit him was poisonous, and they knew it would not take long for him to be impacted by the venom. However, as they watched Paul there was no evidence that he was impacted. Therefore, they changed their minds about what they thought of him. 

There was a local landowner whose father was sick and Paul visited him. He prayed for the man and laid hands on him, and he was cured. Word went out on the island and all those that had diseases came to Paul and they were cured. It’s amazing how things shifted for those who saw the viper bite Paul on the hand and thought  he was getting what he deserved, to see this same man use these hands to cure people from their diseases.

Saints, people may jump to conclusions about you, but you must continue to move forward doing as the Lord guides. This is how the Lord will be able to make an impact on the lives of everyone. There is something I need for you to understand.   People may draw conclusions on what they think about you. However, you can’t get caught up in what they think, because you know it’s the Lord that is blessing you. So, make it your business to continue in the direction He is guiding, and He will take care of everything. Continue to walk in your blessings!
